Hi! I'm so happy you're here. As a child I had a thing for dressing up and playing "pretend." Well...years later, I look back at that little girl with huge dreams and not much has changed.
Born and raised in Rochester, NY, my warm and busy household was filled with love and support from my parents. Being the youngest of three and the only girl, I spent most of my years looking up to my big brothers. I was tough as nails on the soccer field and not very shy when it came to family karaoke or nights at the piano where we would try and turn our living room into a Madison Square Garden Elton John concert.
After years of getting in trouble for singing in my sleep (special skill? I think so), I started voice lessons at The Eastman Community School of Music. I began auditioning for school and community theatre plays, and after numerous "maybe next years"...my big break! I played "Mayzie La Bird" in the 7th grade musical Suessical. Simply put: I caught the bug.
Fast forward a few years and more good news...I was accepted into my dream school- The Boston Conservatory to study in the BFA Musical Theatre Program. I soaked up all four years of glorious training, and with many more tools under my belt, I walked proudly across the stage at graduation. I packed up my Boston apartment and I took my hungry, glass-half-full spirit to NYC to pursue that little girls dream...and the rest is history.
